Man Shot Outside House

A man shot in Brooklyn on July 6, 2022 at around 10:30AM. The man, in his 30’s, was shot twice (in the leg and also grazed on the left cheek) outside 64 West 3rd street, between Kings Highway and Lloyd Court in the Gravesend section of Brooklyn. The victim was rushed to Maimonides Hospital in Borough Park where he was listed in stable condition. According to neighbors, multiple renters live inside the two story brick house and they have seen the man at this location before. Police have recovered two shell casings and a bullet that was lodged into the sidewalk. The motive for the shooting is unknown at this time. Two suspects fled the scene. Car Flips in Accident

Two Injured In Incident

Police say the driver of a grey Toyota Camry lost control of his vehicle and flipped over on 9th avenue and 44th street in the Borough Park section of Brooklyn on May 18, 2022 at around 3:30PM. Police said that the driver of the “speeding” Toyota crashed into a parked Honda CRV. Man Shot; In Critical Condition

A man was shot while inside his basement apartment on March 8, 2022 at around 1:20PM. The victim was shot in the right side of his chest. The incident occurred at 656 Miller Avenue (between Riverdale and Livonia avenues) in the New Lots section of Brooklyn. The victim, described as a male black in his 40’s was rushed to Brookdale Hospital in critical condition. The victim’s girlfriend was seen distraught at the scene outside the house as the victim was loaded into a waiting ambulance. The shooter fled the scene in an unknown direction. There was a Level ONE mobilization called by the 75th Precinct command. NYPD is asking for any surveillance videos that might help. (Photos by Adrienne Knoll)

Apartment House Fire

A fire raged inside a Brooklyn apartment house on March 6, 2022 at around 7PM. The all-hands fire erupted inside a third floor apartment (#3H) of a six story apartment building at 45 Martense Street (at the corner of Martense Court) in the Flatbush section of the borough. Gunfire Erupts On Brooklyn Street

At least a half dozen shots were fired on the corner of Pitkin Avenue and Junius Street in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn but without any known motive as of this report. The gun fire took place March 2, 2022 just before noon. Police issued a citywide hospital canvas for possible shooting victims. Police said the three suspects stepped out of a silver Honda vehicle, fired multiple shots and fled in that vehicle southbound on Junius street. The 73rd Precinct was at the scene. Deadly Brooklyn Blaze

One person is dead and one firefighter injured in a Brooklyn fire on February 26, 2022 The 3-alarm blaze at 367 Tompkins Avenue in the Bedford Stuyvesant section of the borough started around 11:25PM and quickly spread throughout the top two floors of the four story brick building. One person was found on the 3rd floor and pronounced DOA. One injured firefighter was taken to a local hospital after the ceiling collapsed. Man Stabbed In Random Attack Aboard Subway

The Canal Street subway station was the scene of a stabbing on February 20, 2022. A 31-year-old man was stabbed while riding a subway train through lower Manhattan on Sunday night, police and sources said. The victim was knifed twice in the arm by a male suspect during an unprovoked attack aboard a downtown #6 train approaching the Canal Street station at about 6:10 p.m., according to police. The attacker stayed on the train as it headed to the next station. Police said the victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition. No arrests were immediately made. Bicyclist and SUV Collide

One Injured In Mishap

A bicyclist was struck in Brooklyn on February 19, 2022 at 9 p.m. The victim, who was on a motorized bike, collided with a white Ford SUV at the intersection of Eastern Parkway and Herkimer Street in the Brownsville section. The victim was rushed to Brookdale Hospital in critical condition. The driver remained at the scene. There is an ongoing investigation by the NYPD CIS and 73rd Precinct command. Mayor Appoints New Commissioner of Emergency Management

NYC mayor Eric Adams appointed a new commissioner of the New York City Emergency Management office on February 17, 2022. The mayor visited the NYCEM HQ at 165 Cadman Plaza East in Brooklyn to announce the appointment of Zachary Iscol. Speeding Car Strikes and Kills Teen

A teenager was killed on February 12, 2022 at around 7PM when the 17 year old boy was struck and killed by a speeding black BMW 550i with temporary Pennsylvania plates outside his building on Kings Highway and Avenue K in the Flatlands section of Brooklyn. The BMW was traveling southbound on Kings Highway when it struck the teen, completely shattering the front windshield. The victim was rushed to Kings County Hospital (KCH) where he was pronounced DOA. The driver was arrested and also taken to KCH. The victim’s stepfather identified the boy as Terah Sauveuer . The teen’s mother was in tears as she screamed her son’s name and picked up his black headphones from the roadway. The child’s biological father and stepfather were also at the scene. Teen Stabbed in Subway Station

A teen was stabbed in a Brooklyn subway station on February 8, 2022 at around 1PM. The victim was stabbed multiple times in the stomach inside the 20th Avenue “N” subway station in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn., The victim was rushed to Maimonides Medical Center in stable condition. The teen is believed to be a student at the nearby FDR High School located about six blocks from the station. A large pool of blood was seen on and below a metal bench outside the station. Man on Motorized Scooter Killed

A man on motorized wheelchair was killed in Brooklyn on February 5, 2022 around 5PM. The elderly man was struck at the intersection of Oriental Boulevard and Coleridge Street in the Manhattan Beach section of Brooklyn. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died. Pedestrian Fatally Struck In Ridgewood

A pedestrian was killed in Queens on January 13, 2022 Just before 8PM. The pedestrian was fatally stuck at 67-30 Metropolitan Avenue in Ridgewood, Queens. The roughly 1/2 mile stretch of Metropolitan Avenue which cuts through St. John’s Cemetery is known to locals where cars speed. Renewed Battle Against Careless Motorists

NYC Mayor Eric Adams held a transportation department press opportunity on January 19, 2022 At 10AM, joined by the NYPD Commissioner Keechant L. Sewell, NYC DOT Commissioner Ydanis Rodriguez, NYPD Chief of Patrol Juanita Holmes and others at the intersection of Caton Avenue and Coney Island Avenue in the Kensington section of Brooklyn. Woman Stabbed on Street

A woman was stabbed in Brooklyn. on January 18, 2021 at around 3:20PM. The woman,, in her 40’s, was stabbed in her stomach by another female outside 2955 West 29th street in Coney Island. The victim was rushed to Lutheran Medical Center in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. According to radio transmissions, the perp is known to the victim and fled in dark gray BMW with the possible license plate TBH957. Alleged Car Thieves Crash Vehicle

On Saturday, December 26, 2020 at approximately 9:40PM, two car thieves crashed a brand new white Infiniti into a poll at the intersection of Surf avenue and West 20th street in Coney Island, Brooklyn. One of the occupants was pinned for few minutes and was rushed to Lutheran Medical Center (LMC) in serious condition where he died about 30 minutes later. Emotionally Disturbed Person Taken into Custody

On Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at around 1:15PM, police were called to 7406 6th avenue in Bay Ridge Brooklyn for a violent EDP (emotional disturbed person) who was on top of a garage. After about a 20 minute standoff the EDP (described only a white man in his 30s) climbed down a ladder and was taken into custody without incident. Man Shot While Driving

A man shot in Brooklyn. Friday, December 4, 2020 at around 1:30PM. The 22 year old was shot in the back while driving east bound on the Belt Parkway near Rockaway Parkway in Brooklyn. The young driver exited the Parkway at Pennsylvania Avenue, where he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into four parked cars. He was rushed to Brookdale hospital in very critical condition. The shooting occurred within the 69th police precinct command and the crash occurred in the 75th precinct command. Both precincts were at the scene, 1481 Geneva Loop in Starrett City. Man Stabbed Defending Wife

Saturday, October 24, 2020 At around 11:15PM police responded to 2965 Avenue Z inside the 8th floor in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn for a man defending his wife from crazed EDP. The female caller said that her husband used knife to fend-off from crazed EDP (emotional disturbed person). The EDP was cut by the defending husband, no other injuries, unknown detail. Woman Shot On Street

On Wednesday, September 9, 2020 just after 9AM a total of eight shots were fired outside the Post office on the corner of Clinton and Centre streets when one woman was shot by stray bullet in shoulder just seconds after completing her drivers license drive test three blocks down on the corner of Clinton and Bay streets in Red Hook Brooklyn. She was rushed to Methodist Hospital in Park Slope Brooklyn. Eight shell casings were recovered on Clinton street. No other victims, shooter fled the scene. Ongoing investigation by the NYPD Housing Bureau and the 76th precinct command. The shooter is described as male black, 50s ,last seen wearing a neon green cap and beige sweatshirt. Motorcyclist Struck in Brooklyn

Saturday, July 25, 2020 At around 6PM, a black Audi collided with three wheel motorcycle (Tricycle) at the intersection of Emmons Avenue and East 27th Street in Sheepsheadbay Brooklyn. The motorcyclist was rushed to Lutheran Medical Center in critical condition. The Audi driver remained at the scene, no charges. Black Lives Matter Conference

Mayor de Blasio at the Brooklyn march. Saturday, July 18, 2020 Just after 4:40 PM, NYC mayor Bill de Blasio stopped by to give speech about people taking the streets, gun violence at the corner of Fulton street and Marcy avenue in Bed Stuy Brooklyn, where the first BLM sign in NYC was painted last month. Mayor was joined by NYC councilman Robert Carnegie, NBA NY Knicks forward, Brooklyn born Taj Gibson, Brooklyn DA Eric Gonalez and Eve Hendricks, the mother of a 17 year old basketball teen Brandon Hendricks shot and killed earlier this month. The mom, who demanded that the mayor could do more in one-on-one interview with NY Post photog was wearing a tag with NY Post cover from June 30th with headlining the killing of the beloved son Brandon. As the mayor walked away he posed with about 1/2 dozen selfie seekers. The march was organized by Taj Gibson Foundation that started at 3PM at the Broadway Junction.
